Kevin Vaughan-Smith has a high-level understanding of strategic business issues, gained through a successful career in sales, marketing and business development, primarily in the IT industry. His track record includes experience with major companies such as IBM and Digital, and he has held board-level roles as Sales and Marketing Director of productivity hardware company Psion and Managing Director of Corporate Software Ltd.
Kevin began his relationship with FranklinCovey as a facilitator but was soon recognized as a key part of the team in moving the organization forward at a strategic level. Kevin is now the Managing Director for FranklinCovey and is transforming its level of growth and team spirit. Kevin's key strengths include creating and managing relationships, developing value propositions and team building, as well as an in-depth understanding of business. These strengths are being clearly demonstrated through FranklinCovey's continuing and rapid development.
His primary objective as Managing Director is to use his leadership skills and experience within FranklinCovey to build a company that can help others, to develop their organizations and their people skills to make them more effective – whatever their competitive environment.
Kevin lives in Buckinghamshire with his wife and three daughters. Kevin is the Chairman of a local charity, and lists among his other interests' amateur theatre and gliding, in which he is a qualified instructor.
