Shawn Moon General Manager, Government Services and Education

Shawn has been with Franklin Covey for 17 years, and is currently the General Manager of Government Services and Education. Prior to this, he was Vice President of Business Development for the Training Process Outsourcing group, and before this, he presided over nine business units, including Franklin Covey's vertical market sales, targeting Federal Government, Law Enforcement, Healthcare, Automotive, Direct Sales, Education, and Technology. He also had responsibility for Franklin Covey's internal learning university. Prior to this, Shawn was responsible for leading Covey Leadership Center's Eastern Region and Federal Programs business. In addition to his sales and marketing roles, he has conducted numerous training courses and keynote addresses to a broad base of clients across the globe, and has worked with leading organizations across the world, including, British Petroleum, Exxon Corp, Accenture, EDS, the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy.

Shawn Moon has also been a Principal with the Mellon Financial Corporation, where he had responsibility for business development of Mellon's comprehensive Human Resources Outsourcing offering. In addition to his business development activities, he coordinated activities within the consulting and advisory community for Mellon Human Resources and Investor Solutions.

Shawn and his wife, Michele, reside in Lindon, Utah. They enjoy spending time with their four children, music, theatre, sporting activities, and the great outdoors.
