Announcing the BDO Alliance

FranklinCovey has worked in the NHS across the UK for a number of years.  Over this time we have found that many of our solutions resonate with all levels of staff and have made an impact beyond our expectations.

Changes to the NHS as a result of legislation i.e. the Health and Social Bill and due to demographic changes i.e. the ageing population have changed the support requirements for the NHS.  Creation of the new Clinical Commissioning Groups and Health and Wellbeing Boards has lead to more emphasis being placed on leaders to meet a growing and changing range of objectives.

FranklinCovey are pleased to announce their alliance with BDO LLP (BDO) and Influence at Work. This alliance has specifically been brought together to support the needs of the NHS across the UK.

BDO's healthcare team is made up of clinicians and former NHS managers who are committed to working with the NHS to improve patient outcomes and realise efficiencies. The team are implementation focussed and have a strong track record of delivering programme management, procurement, finance and process engineering and improvement projects within the NHS. The BDO healthcare team's innovative approach to working with the NHS incorporates a ‘blended team' approach which enables effective personal development and skills transfer which decreases future reliance on external support. Together with BDO, FranklinCovey bring leadership and organisational development expertise and a wealth of experience working in this space.  We work with the NHS to embed a culture of trust and mutual support through the adoption of the new ways of working in particular within the new CCGs.  Kevin Vaughan-Smith is leading FranklinCovey in work with the NHS as his expertise as both a facilitator and a Managing Director of FranklinCovey provides the basis for building high-trust relationships within organisations in order to achieve common goals.

The third organisation within the alliance is Influence at Work (IAW). IAW are behavioural change experts that offer the NHS a unique insight into how influencing the behaviours of key internal and external stakeholders can impact on the outcomes desired. Influence at Work is led by Steve Martin, best-selling author of Yes! 50 secrets from the science of persuasion. Steve has been working within the Department of Health in the Public Health Responsibility Deal Network and the Cabinet Office's Behavioural Insight Unit.

At FranklinCovey we are extremely proud to be able to support the NHS with such a comprehensive team of experts.  We are also thrilled to be making an impact already with the developing Clinical Commissioning Groups.
