Sangita Skilling, Consultant
Sangita Skilling is a Consultant with FranklinCovey Europe. Her facilitation style is extremely participative, based on her strong belief that true learning occurs when people feel involved.
Sangita is an extremely passionate consultant who lives the principles she facilitates. Her personal mission statement is “...to make a radical contribution in the place she lives and works; to inspire impact and make a difference in the lives of those around her; to give them the courage to make a difference too.”
Sangita believes and works with the principle that if she, as the facilitator, is enjoying the programme, participants will be highly engaged and open to participation too. Based on this premise, Sangita always delivers sessions to fit the participants needs.
Sangita has been an accredited facilitator for The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People for a number of years and has delivered this workshop in numerous differing dimensions. Her passion and knowledge in this subject has been through delivery and personal life changing events. She is also accredited to deliver most of our core programmes too.
Sangita’s has also enjoyed great success in the Education section too, having designed 2 programmes for school teachers and education leaders, using the 7 Habits principles. She has built the skills and found a passion to deliver FranklinCovey solutions to children as young as 5 to senior leadership teams of International organisations. Prior to working with FranklinCovey, Sangita’s role was that of Management Development Manager with Welcome Break where she was responsible for senior management development to director level. Prior to that
Sangita was the Head of Learning and Development for Tchibo UK, where she played an integral part in establishing the company in the UK from Germany and building the training framework for the UK business. Sangita’s area of specialism is twofold: Firstly in creating a learning atmosphere that participants find engaging and thought provoking. Secondly, Sangita has a passion for measuring the impact of training/learning as she has had some great successes using this methodology.
Sangita has been married for 10 years to Robin and they have 2 children; Joshua (7) and Sofia (4). She also has 2 Golden Retrievers called Penny and Baker. When Sangita is not working, she spends time in her role as the Chair of Governors at her local primary school. Her hobbies include Formula 3 racing, parachuting, amateur dramatics, gardening, cooking, running, hiking and walking.
